FLEXION-DISTRACTION

Flexion-Distraction is a therapeutic technique used to treat people with a variety of pain syndromes that have not responded to other treatment approaches. This painless non-invasive procedure is performed using a special treatment table that allows us to gently stretch and bend the back in various directions while we add gentle pressure to different parts of the spine. There are no jerking movements at all. The table moves in a smooth rhythmic fashion as we move our hands into different positions.

DIVERSIFIED TECHNIQUE

This technique uses a variety of adjustive techniques to detect “subluxations” and to create motion in a vertebral joint. Some of these mobilizing techniques are effective in the treatment of back pain. We use diversified technique and offer appropriate hands-on spinal manipulation than those who use a “special technique.”

SEGMENTAL DROP SYSTEM

The “Segmental Drop System” takes advantage of the spine’s inherent design of the joints in order to move the spinal segment in the direction that will improve the motion of the segment with the one above and below. The patient lies on a special table with sections that drop down. We apply a quick thrust at the same time the section drops. The dropping of the table allows for a lighter adjustment without the twisting positions that can accompany other techniques.
